Good evening everyone. Just doing my regular research tonight and came across a very interesting article on GoIP Global (GOIG). I felt this was an excellent read on GOIG as a whole but part of it outlines the completely irresponsible and downright scary advice some will receive online. Kudrna’s Stock Market Talk was created to help the individual investor learn to invest themselves and avoid terrible advice from random people online who will have no accountability when you lose money. The sad thing is these are just a few examples and the norm on these various forums. I have a Free Live Chat on this website and I actively monitor it for terrible advice as such, along with other well respected Chat Mods. Hopefully, you will never see such poor advice on this website.
GoIP Global, Inc. (PINK:GOIG) Contradictory Claims
Date: Mar 12, 2010
GoIP Global, Inc. (PINK:GOIG, GOIG message board) shares have been skyrocketing. Three weeks ago they announced that its subsidiary Go800, LLC’s new website, www.go800corp.com, was launched and attracted incredibly the advertising community.
NOTE: March 13th 2010 – Article has been updated to clarify that the company will not be using this new website they launched to advertise on the website.
An independent media rating service, Website Outlook, published an analysis of the website that said it is of very little value. Website outlook’s analysis of the website said that if the site was used for advertising, the site would only make 83 cents per day and based on it’s traffic it is just worth $600. Another independent website ranking service Alexa also gave a low ranking to the website. And Reinforced Website Outlook’s analysis
However the website is new. And on the website they are marketing a new technology that they have developed. If the technology gains traction in the marketplace, the value of the IP that they have developed may be substantially more.
The growing GOIG stock price

GOIG stock price chart for the last two months shows that the price is climbing up. The company has been making some positive press releases with forward looking statements.
Additional Note:
We certainly don’t want to knock a good company that may be on their way up. If this product is ever accepted in the marketplace, it may make money for the company and its shareholders.
But after publishing this article our message board became inundated with various legal threats. The interesting thing was all of the comments came from Blocked IP addresses. Only a very small percent of our comments we receive come from blocked IP address, but all of the comments on GOIG were from a blocked IP. This suggests to us that whoever is making the comments is trying to conceal something.
So instead of deleting the article as the threats were advising us to do, we became curious. Who were these people posting with blocked IP addresses?
We started digging on other boards. We found some disturbing discussions on the GOIG Ihub message board. I decided to screenshot it to document the discussion in the event it may later become deleted. In this discussion, someone is asking whether he should mortgage his house to buy shares in GOIG. A user responds encouraging that if he were in the same situation he would mortgage the house and put 70% of the home equity line of credit into GOIG. Screenshot is at the bottom of this post.
Doing a further search of who that user is, one can see his name showing up in 532 other posts. Over 180 posts show up from this same user on Vega Biofuels. Vega (formerly known as Vega Promotional Systems) is a stock that we have been warning investors about at Hotstocked for over 2 years now. Vega has lost investors 99.99% of their money since we first covered it. The stock was brought to our attention by Spamnation a website that reports illegal Spam campaigns used to manipulate penny stocks. Vega has lost investors about 50% since November when this selfsame user on Ihub was saying how good he thought it was.
We also found that Yahoo Message Boards are being spammed with GOIG stock tips. A google search reveals over 800 discussion boards about large stocks like Google and Apple have been interrupted. I took a screenshot of what I found just in case the posts “disappear” after this article. The discussions are interrupted and almost all of the posts say positive things about GOIG. A lot of posts are saying GOIG is going to be taken over. Other posts are trying to talk the readers out of buying Google and tell them to buy millions of shares of GOIG Stock instead. Is thiis a coincidence, or an active campaign of stock promoters masquerading as investors in order to promote the stock, offload shares, etc.?
We don’t know the answer to that question. Company’s sometimes fall victim to this type of activity and have nothing to do with it. The Ihub user advising the other person to mortgage his house to buy this high risk investment may simply be an enthusiastic investor. And the 800 posts on Yahoo may have come from real users who just like to give advice and start takeover rumors. But if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it must be a ……
Our caution on message board activity is shared by the SEC. The SEC recently developed a website www.investor.gov. On this site, the SEC warns investors about frauds that commonly occur on the internet, especially in chat rooms. They encourage investors to read the financial statements of the company. They also encourage investors not to invest on the basis of E-mail campaigns or message board posts.
Financials
At the end of last year, GOIG had a working capital deficiency of $891,175 and accumulated deficit of $3,770,035. The management of the company expects a negative cash flow for the first tree months of 2010. They plan to find funds due to the absence of existing capital resources or credit lines for operations.
It would be interesting to see if anyone will invest or if the terms of this capital would come on a favorable basis. We say this considering that the company has a 3.7 million dollar deficit, and 2 independent media sources are not showing that the website they launched has not yet gained substantial traffic.
