The author has been trading stocks for over 30 years. His first few great stock picks while employed on Wall Street in the late 80's were Price Club, IGT, MGM, US Surgical, Columbia Pictures, New Line Cinema, and Home Depot. He started in the investment industry as an Intern for EF Hutton and moved into his first corporate office at Shearson Lehman Hutton and was a Growth Stock Advisor for the Los Angeles region and a Financial Consultant managing multi-millions in assets for over 1,100+ clients. He was promoted to Vice President in his mid-20's where he worked at top Wall Street firms like Prudential Securities and later on as a Vice President with Dean Witter (now known as Morgan Stanley) before starting his own Investment Consulting Firm coordinating start-ups, advising publicly traded companies on strategy, making markets in stocks arranged through attorneys specializing solely in securities, and working with super high net worth investors.
A key strategy is following the Highly Capitalized, Big Money, Investors, Traders, VC's, Institutions, and Hedge Funds like: Appaloosa Management, BlackRock, Highland Capital Partners, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, Cerberus Capital, Citadel, George Soros, John Paulson, Duquesne Capital, David Tepper, Wilbur Ross, Carlos Slim Helu, Carl Icahn, Paul Tudor Jones II, Goldman Sachs, UBS, Barclays, FMR (Fidelity Management and Research), Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, JPMorgan Chase, QVT, Rothschild, BlackStone, Jefferies & Co., Brandes Investment Partners, and others.
