I get asked many questions in regard to GoIp Global (GOIG) lately so I wanted to help get my thought process out in the open to hopefully help others decide on what to do. If you are in various forums, you’re told you are crazy to not buy, buy, buy. A few days ago, I posted an article from another site showing the irresponsible advice to mortgage one’s own house to buy shares of GOIG. As I’ve stated before, the intent of this site is to provide a platform for investors to receive responsible information and have beneficial discussions that don’t pertain to advising you to take out loans to buy stock. It seems to me that my site is completely unique to the industry these days. (more…)

Just a quick update to my readers before Thursday’s open. Impac Mortgage (IMPM) had a pullback today after the move up on Tuesday. We opened Wednesday with a gap up and I sold some shares to rightsize my position a bit and lock in some realized gains. We didn’t have a lot of buyers at those high levels so we went back down to Tuesday’s highs fairly quickly. Throughout the day, we seemed to build support levels around $4.30 and $4.40 and I’d like to see us gap up again Thursday morning and create higher support levels from there. IMPM is now starting to move like a larger cap stock and not giving the fast 100% gains it once did starting the middle of last year. However, we had significant buying support around $4.30 and $4.40 and the L2 didn’t show strong selling pressure until $5.50 for most of the day. I interpret that as we have patient long-term buyers looking to build up their positions rather than buying up too quickly, exhausting their cash levels, and not being able to buy more if it dips. I always recommend buying in increments. The hourly MACD finally turned to a downtrend around 1pm (Eastern) on the chart but switching to the 15-minute mark shows we leveled off during the last hour and this could indicate we are about to uptrend early tomorrow. The last hour was strong, outside of the last 10 minutes so I feel good about what Thursday brings as of right now. (more…)

Impac Mortgage (IMPM) released their much anticipated 2009 earnings results tonight and will host a conference call Tuesday at 12pm eastern to further discuss. For those new to IMPM, they had accumulated a significant amount of debt during our recent financial crisis and have been in the process of cleaning their financials to survive. IMPM was once a stock which traded over $275 and last year was trading as low as $.16. After my initial review of the earnings release, it looks like IMPM is finally turning the corner to the surprise of many. I have been accumulating shares under $4 and now that we have more clarity with earnings, I expect the positive news plus the bullish chart indicators to elevate the PPS from here. (more…)

Good Morning loyal readers. I want to do some housecleaning for those who haven’t been in the free chatroom and apart of the lengthy and intelligent discussions we’ve had. I consider this the best stock market chatroom online and not just because it’s on my site. We have intelligent posters and keep it monitored for those trying to spread garbage information. Don’t take my word, join and see for yourself. (more…)

Good evening/morning readers. I wrote this late Tuesday night and am just uploading it very early Wednesday morning, central time. As you should know by now, we had a terrible day in GoIP Global (GOIG) on Tuesday. We started with an aggressive sell-off followed by a few small bounces throughout the day only to settle down to $.008. The action today was depressing but not unexpected per my recent articles on Sunday and Monday as consolidation was necessary. What goes up must come down. If you got sucked into listening to others who said this stock will go up and never come down, hopefully you learned your lesson quickly. (more…)

Good Evening. Just wanted to give a quick update on GoIP Global (GOIG) and analysis on how it traded Monday. We saw a strong opening towards the major resistance level of $.015 and similar to what happened last Sept/Oct, we failed miserably. Upon making a move towards $.015, we aggressively sold off. I’ve been away most of the day working on other projects so my update today will be somewhat brief. We continued the rally early with some solid volume but have pulled back since, many attributing it to the President Obama speech. More often than not, when Obama speaks the market goes lower. For those momentum traders, that’s pertinent information which most already know as this trend is far from new. (more…)

Good Afternoon. Today we are seeing a very uneventful day and I have personally struggled to stay at the computer to pay close attention to the action. The bulls have kept control away from the bears and while I feel we still have much downside risk, I can’t keep speculating that the bears will do something when the bulls have proven they have the control. Jobs data comes out this week and I expect it to be terrible based on the hints over the past week. However, the market doesn’t seem too concerned with that right now. (more…)

Good afternoon readers. I’m making some moves today in smaller caps and wanted to update my readers on my strategies. GoIP Global (GOIG) has continued the breakout from last week and it’s a reminder to me of what happened in early February. We rode up to new highs for a few days, higher than some expected. At that time, volume dried up at the high levels because the risk of buying too high greatly increased. The PPS came down sharply after that, which created panic sales as some tried to lock in profits. I believe we could be seeing the same thing sometime this week unless we get some major media attention to attract many more buyers, which will continue this string of high volume days. As I’ve discussed, a significant benefit to GOIG is that it is a “stealth” stock with little attention at the moment. When the rest of the world hears about this concept, we can expect significantly more volume and buys, assuming nothing negative happens with our service launch and demand. As you know, I’m betting on great things. (more…)
